PAVE Integrated Services for Individual and Family Protection Specialist Centre (ISIFPSC)

PAVE is an integrated service for family violence and child protection. PAVE provides services for persons who abuse, survivors and vulnerable family members such as children and the elderly, in dealing with interpersonal violence.

Application of Personal Protection Order

Applicants can apply for a PPO via iFAMS online application platform: https://ifams.gov.sg/sop/#iFAMS

Please be informed that, as part of the Covid-19 precautionary measures, PPO application will only be available at the FJC in the morning from 9am-12pm.

For the affirmation, applicants will need to do so directly at the Family Justice Court (FJC). You can select the date and time to go down to FJC at the end of the PPO application via iFAMS.

Casework & Counselling

Casework / Counselling are provided by professionally trained Social Workers who specialise in family violence work. Persons who abuse, survivors and witnesses of abuse may receive emotional support on a one-to-one basis either on voluntary or mandatory (court mandate) grounds.

Trauma-Focused Counselling for Children

PAVE provides trauma-focussed counselling which aims to address the needs of children and adolescents aged 5 – 18 with posttraumatic stress symptoms and other difficulties related to traumatic life events such as their experiences of violence.

Re-integrative Services for Families

Upon completion of the family violence programme, parenting support including fathering sessions, family work and marital work may be offered to the families/individuals, based on their needs.

Group Work

Group work services for Persons Who Abuse (PWA)

This is a 12-week programme that challenges the beliefs of PWA who use violence. The programme introduces positive alternatives to violence. The group is open to both mandatory and voluntary clients and is co-facilitated by a male-female professional team.

This is a 12-week programme that challenges the beliefs of PWA who use violence. The programme introduces positive alternatives to violence. The group is open to both mandatory and voluntary clients and is co-facilitated by a male-female professional team.

Group work for survivors who experience violence

This is a 10-week programme that uses an empowerment model to work with survivors who experience violence. Apart from safety and protection, the programme also looks at gender and socialisation issues and seeks alternative ways to problem-solving.

Group work for children

This programme helps children to deal with the trauma of experiencing/witnessing violence in their families. Issues of self-esteem and facilitating their capacity to cope more constructively with violent behaviour are explored.

Family group work

Post-violence marital, family and parenting groups are also conducted for those who have completed their individual counselling programmes.
