  • Social workers conduct research and document their findings in the hope that the findings might shed light on possible gaps in service delivery and stimulate the development of relevant programmes to address these gaps.

    Past research or publications include:

    • Nair, S., Pang, K.T. and Soh, S.F. (2001). Children's Resilience in Living in Violent Families. Asia Pacific Journal of Social Work, Vol. 11, p 63 - 77.

    • Mandatory Counselling Programme (MCP) manual commissioned by Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports (MCYS)

    • 'Engaging Men who Abuse. The PAVe Experience.', a book which will take you on a literary journey of social workers' experiences working with men and what works when it comes to working with men.
